Position Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 6+ month on site in Sacramento, CA.
Term: Contract-to-Hire
JOB DESCRIPTION: Requirements analyst
The Requirements Analyst is responsible for assuring that the software
developed meets the requirements. This person will also assure that
the
test cases match the requirements. They may also write or oversee the
writing of training materials and conduct training sessions.
DUTIES:
· Required:
· Team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal, planning,
coordination, and problem-solving skills
· Documented experience as a Business Analyst and Requirements
Specifier
role (minimum of two projects)
· Documented experience writing documentation as a Business Analyst and
Requirements Specifier (minimum of two projects)
· Proficiency in written communication
· High degree of initiative and the ability to work independently and
follow-through on assignments
· Must have a solid background in the practical application of the RUP
six
best practices
· Must have keen ability to interact with various levels of management
· Demonstrated experience using iterative software development
methodologies
including creating and mentoring others in the creation of UML
artifacts,
RUP methodology, and visual modeling tools
· Preferred:
· Experience must include Business Modeling and Requirements
Gathering/Management, although complete lifecycle experience is
preferred
· Understanding and use of Project Management Methodology is a plus
· 3+ years experience in object oriented analysis and design
methodologies
is a plus.
· 3+ years experience in an n-tier environment is a plus.

· Rational Unified Process – required
· UML – required
· Microsoft Office – required
· Preferred:
· Microsoft Project – desired
· TogetherSoft – desired
· CaliberRM – desired
· Microsoft Visio – desired
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & TRAINING EXPERIENCE
· Bachelors degree in a related discipline is preferred.
